Mis Productos "Must Have" para cuando estoy enferma

Estos últimos días he estado enferma.

No me encontraba bien y mi temperatura fluctuaba entre los 34º y los 38º. Intenté estar en casa, descansar y mejorarme, y salir solo cuando era estrictamente necesario.

Y es cuando tienes que salir de casa que tienes que estar presentable y aparentar que te encuentras bien. Para conseguirlo tengo que hacer trampa con un poco de maquillaje.

Los productos que para mi son un must para conseguir aparentar que estoy bien cuando estoy enferma o me encuentro mal son los siguientes:

1- Una BB cream. He estado usando la BB Cream Nude Magique de L'Oreal. Es una BB cream muy lighera que iguala mi tono piel (un poco igual que hacen las CC creams). Es hidratante y tiene protección solar.

2- Corrector: el corrector que he usado estos días ha sido el corrector Healthy Mix Concealer de Bourjois para mis ojeras, imperfecciones y también para iluminar un poco la parte alta de las mejillas. También lo he usado para igualar el color de mis párpados y no se viera tan rojo.

3- Colorete y Bronceador: Estos dos productos van de la mano y son muy necesarios para que parezca que estoy sana. Un poco de color en mi cara siempre me hace parecer más saludable.
El colorete que he estado usando durante estos días es mi colorete MAC Alluring Aquatic Extra Dimension Blush en el tono Sea Me, Hear Me. Este colorete aplicado en mis mejillas me da un color natural y sano, por eso lo he utilizado todos estos días.
El bronceador que he usado ha sido el Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer de Too Faced. Este bronceador mate ahora mismo es un poco claro para mi tono de piel (lo he usado durante los meses de invierno) porqué con la llegada del verano me he bronceado un poquito (aun que he estado dentro de casa y cuando he salido he usado protección solar), pero esos días que no he estado bien, ese tono era suficiente para mi.

 

4- Máscara de pestañas: Este paso es muy importante para que parezca que estoy despierta!! Algunos días uso rizador de pestañas y otros no, pero la máscara siempre, siempre, siempre! Como primero aplico el corrector en los párpados, ya no están tan rojos y tienen pinta de estar menos enfermos. Después aplico la máscara de pestañas para definirlos más y ya está. He estado usando la máscara Colossal Volum Express Waterproof de Maybelline. Podéis encontrar que pienso de esta máscara aquí.

 

5- Bálsamo labial. Obligatorio cuando los labios están sensibles o agrietados. En este punto tengo dos opciones diferentes:

Opción 1- Cuando no me encuentro bien y no quiero aplicar nada de maquillaje, o quiero mis labios naturales, lo que hago es aplicar la primera barra de labios de cacao que encuentro. Ya sea de Nivea o de Liposan. Cualquiera me vale. Estos días, pero, he estado utilizando un bálsamo a base de Rosa Mosqueta que también se puede aplicar en la nariz si hace falta y está irritada. El mío es este de aquí de Repavar. Lo compré en la farmacia y tiene protección solar factor 15 (voy a usarlo todo el veranito en la piscina). 

Opción 2- Cuando no me encuentro bien y a penas tengo color en mi cara, me ayuda mucho poner un poco de color en los labios. Los colores que me van mejor durante estos días son los tonos que no son "nude" y que me aportan color. He estado usando los bálsamos de Maybelline Baby Lips en el tono Cherry Me! para darme un poco de color e hidratar. Tambien me encanta como me queda el Chubby Stick Intense de Clinique en Heftiest Hibiscus y el Lipstick Color Boost de Bourjois en el tono 01 Red Sunrise. Todos estos colores me hacen parecer más saludable, y como estos días no llevaba ni sombra de ojos y mis ojos parecían más pequeños y cansados, aplicar un color vistoso en los labios hace desviar la atención a esa zona (y no en los ojos).

My Makeup Musts When I'm Sick...

These past few days I've been sick.

I was not feeling well, my temperature was fluctuating from 34ºC to 38ºC (93F to 100F). I tried to stay at home, rest, getting better and go out only when highly required. 

And it was when I had to leave home that I needed to look presentable and better than I was. I had to cheat that I was feeling good when I was not!! So I had to play with some makeup to achieve that.

My must have products to look better when I am (I was) sick:

1- A light texture BB cream. I've been using my  L'Oreal Nude Magique BB Cream. It's lightweight and it evens out my complexion. It moisturizes your skin and has some SPF in it. 

2- Concealer: My go to concealer these days has been the Bourjois Healthy Mix Concealer for under circles, skin imperfections and to slightly highlight my cheekbones. Also used on my eyelids to even out that area.

3- Blush and Bronzer: This is a must for me if I don't want to look washed out. I find that some color on my faces really makes me look healthier.

The blush I've been using these days has been my MAC Alluring Aquatic Extra Dimension Blush in Sea Me, Hear Me.This looks like my natural blush and really makes me look healthy.

The bronzer I've been using is my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil Bronzer. This bronzer is a tad bit light for me right now, but it has been my go to bronzer during the winter months. I cannot use it right now because I've gained some color (even though I've been indoors and wearing SPF when outside) but those days when I was sick, this shade was enough for me. 

 

4- Mascara: This step really made me look more awake! Somedays I used an eyelash curler + mascara and other days I just put some mascara on and nothing else. Since before that I applied some concealer to my eyelids, those looked slightly healthy. The mascara was just to define my eyes some more.

5- Lip balm. A must if your lips feel swallen. I have two options here:

Option 1- When I don't feel good I really don't want to wear any makeup at all, but if I need to look presentable, I have to. So, for those days when i really don't want much on my face, I just use any chapstick I happend to have handy. Any Nivea or Liposan lipbalm will do. I've applied also Rose Hip balm (the one that I have is also bood for your nostrils when they feel raw) from Repavar. 

Option 2- I find that some color on my lips really helps making me look healty. The colors that look nice on my lips must not be nude, other wise I look even sicker. I've been using my Maybelline Baby Lips in Cherry Me! to give me some nice color, Clinique Chubby Stick Intense in Heftiest Hibiscus and my Bourjois Lipstick Color Boost in 01 Red Sunrise. All those shades make me look better, and on days when my eyes looked specially small and didn't want to draw any atencion to them, those shades were my best option.

Opinión: Bourjois Desmaquillante de Ojos Express

Que tipo de limpiadores de ojos os gustan? Gel? Jabón? Líquidos? Aceites?

Uno de los mejores, para mi, es el Bourjois Desmaquillante de Ojos Express. Es un producto en dos fases que combina un producto oleoso (líquido azul) con uno no acuoso (transparente). Es un producto muy bueno para quitar el maquillaje de ojos resistente al agua. Tened en cuenta que Bourjois es una marca que proviene de la casa Chanel y que algunos de sus productos son prácticamente iguales y su formulación no varía demasiado.

Ésta es mi tercera botellita de este producto y seguiré comprándolo en el futuro, igual que he echo en el último par de años desde que lo descubrí. La botella contiene 200ml de producto, cuesta 3,99€ y el precio no podría ser mejor.

Qué hace este producto?

• El aceite azul es el encargado de quitar el maquillaje de ojos que has aplicado, sin dejar restos. Lo hace muy bien y esta es la principal razón por lo cual sigo comprando este producto.
• El líquido transparente es el que quita los residuos del aceite azul y al mismo tiempo evita que notes la zona demasiado oleosa como sí pasa con otros desmaquillantes.

Mi experiencia con este producto está siendo muy buena. De otra forma, no seguiría comprándolo. Quita bien el maquillaje de los ojos (ya sean sombras, pigmentos, sombras en crema, máscara de pestañas o productos resistentes al agua). Tambien me parece que hay un par de cositas que deben tenerse en cuenta antes de usarlo (según mi opinión):

Primero, debe agitarse mucho el producto, a consciencia, porqué si no se hace así, los dos líquidos no se mezclan correctamente y no actúan de la forma que deberían.

Segundo, es necesario tener a punto el algodón para aplicarlo de forma rápida, porqué sinó los dos líquidos empiezan a separarse. 

Tercero, hay que ponerlo encima del ojo y dejarlo durante unos 20 segundos o más para dejar que el producto actúe. No hace falta fregarse los ojos con el algodón. Lo dejas quito, después lo deslizas suavemente y en dirección hacia las mejillas y así quitas la máscara de pestañas de forma muy suave y el producto ya se ha quitado por completo o en su mayor parte.

Los días que he ido con prisa y no he seguido estos tres pasos que me funcionan a mi, he comprobado que quedan rastros de producto y si no se agita bien, deja un rastro oleoso y desagradable que después te obliga a usar algún otro producto para quitarlo (generalmente utilizo mi Biotherma Sensibio H2O o mi Diadermine Gel Limpiador de Alta Tolerancia).

Una de las mejores características que tiene este producto es que es muy suave y adecuado para la piel de la zona de los ojos. No la irrita, cosa que es muy importante considerando lo frágil que es.

Aunque contiene aceites, no tiene ningún efecto negativo sobre mi piel grasa, ni me hace salir más granitos ni me tapa los poros, así que es un producto que va a funcionar bien en todo tipo de pieles.

En general, es un producto muy bueno y muy asequible. Es uno de los mejores desmaquillanes de ojos que he usado.

Bourjois Express Eye Makeup Remover Review

What is your favourite kind of eye makeup removers? Gel? Soap? Liquid? Oil?

One of the best ones, for me, is this Bourjois  Express Eye Makeup Remover. It's a two-phase product that convines an oily product (blue liquid) with a non-oily one (clear liquid). It's good to remove waterproof eye makeup, and it really does it well. Keep in mind that Bourjois is a brand from Chanel and some of their products are mostly the same.

This is my third bottle of this product and will repurchase it for sure, as I've been doing in the last couple of years, since I first discovered it. This bottle is 200ml. and costs 3,99€.

What it does:

• The blue oily product is the one in charge of removing all the eye makeup you have on. And it does it soooo nicely and easily that this has been the main reason why I've stick to this product for so long.
• The clear liquid is the one that will clean the oil residue at the same time you're removing your eye makeup and won't leave that oily cast that other products have.

My experience with this product has been good. Otherwise I would not have repurchasing it over and over. It does a very good job, but you have to keep a few things in mind before using it. According to me (this is just my opinion) what has to be done to use this product is:

First, shake it very very very thoroughly, because it has to convine the two products.

Second, you need to keep a cotton pad in hand to work fast and apply the product because otherwise the two products will start to separate. And third, you apply it to your eye and leave it there for 20 seconds or more without rubbing or doing anything. After those seconds, you swipe it very gently downwards and most of the product, if not all, will be gone.

The days that I was in a hurry and did something different, it did not remove the eye makeup completly, though it did quite a good job.

I do think that if the product does not get combined, it leaves that oily cast that I hate, and then I have to use something else (generaly my Biotherma Sensibio H2O or my Diadermine High Tolerance Gel Makeup Remover) to remove it.

One of the best things about this product is that it's very gentle for the skin of the eye area. Does not leave it irritated. That is very importand considering how fragile that skin is.

Even though it contains oil, it does not affect my oily skin with more blemishes or clogging pores or anything like that, and it will work for all skin types.

Over all, it's a very good drugstore product and it does the job better than other makeup removers I've used.
